Expanded from James Venhaus' ten-minute Inside the Loop that was written for TheatreASAP in 2007, this new, full-length production tells the story of one couple ... in reverse.
If you could go back and play your entire failed relationship over again, would you? Should you? Would it make a difference? Ben and Cynthia's relationship is replayed from its bitter end back to its sweet beginning.

The Overtime will show an MST3K classic, "The Killer Shrews" on Friday, August 20th at 10pm, for our Friday Night Movie Series.
From the Wikipedia Entry:
The Killer Shrews is a 1959 science-fiction movie directed by Ray Kellogg. It has been released on DVD and is considered a cult classic. It was featured in the fourth season of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Thorne Sherman and his first mate Griswold deliver supplies to a group on a remote island. The group, consisting of a scientist named Marlowe Cragis, his research assistant Radford Baines, the scientist's daughter Ann, her fiancee Jerry Farrel, and a servant named Mario, meet the captain and his first mate and advise them to stay with them in a house because a hurricane is approaching. Thorne goes but Griswold stays with the boat.
On the island, a doctor works to make humans half-size. This, apparently, will reduce world hunger as smaller humans would presumably eat less. Unfortunately, his experiments have also created some giant, venomous shrews. Thorne and Ann begin to fall in love, which angers Jerry. As the shrews run out of smaller animals to eat, they eat Griswold and close in on the people in the house, ultimately breaking in through the basement. It is discovered that the shrews have a poisonous bite, as a small single bite is enough to kill Mario. The poison kills Radford, and the shrews force the group (save for Jerry, who wants to stay) out of the house to escape to Thorne's boat. They do this by making impromptu armor out of oil drums and crawl to the beach lashed inside them. Jerry is killed by the shrews after he changes his mind and chases after the others, but the rest of the crew (Thorne, Ann, and Marlowe) manage a successful escape to the boat.
Movie screenings at the Overtime are free but donations are gladly accepted!

The reformed (but not rehabilitated) Denials commit more long-form Improv.
The Denials, as captured in the March 2010 issue of San Antonio Magazine:
"Yearning for some laid-back late-night laughter? Settle into the Denials' cozy seats, theater chair cushions
thoughtfully provided. Each Saturday, the raucous welcoming cast rips through a list of several improv games
with help from an eager audience."
Ticket price is $8 general admission. If you purchase a ticket to that night's mainstage production, the improv show costs only 5 bucks!

A new musical based on the award-winning hit local film! The film-turned-musical recounts the tale of Mary Jane, an all-American sweetheart who goes parking with her boyfriend, Billy. When he smokes some atomic reefer and transforms into a sex-crazed zombie, it's up to our hero, Dr S, to save the day! Dr S and Mary Jane battle their way back into town in a blood-soaked, fight-filled extravaganza of pain, gore, and rock!
After the movie by Film Classics had screened at festivals across the nation and even in Leeds, England, the Overtime Theater showed it last winter to a packed house. The idea was formed to turn it into a live stage musical guaranteed to rock the socks off the audience. Doctor S Battles the Sex Crazed Reefer Zombies: The Movie: The Musical will take the story to even more outlandish heights with the script and lyrics by the original team of director Bryan Ortiz and writers Evan Boston and James Hartz.
